For this valentine’s,
I thought I’ll end up with a list,
But what I wrote - turned out to be this:
Ahhh! So mysterious,
So out-of-reach is Jess
Attractive to her toe-nails,
She’s the one I would impress
But then…
There’s she, my pal Queenie
Best of my buddies’ and quite like me
When we talk, we keep talking
Friends are sure she’s the one I’ll marry
Then again…
Rashmi is so brainy
Talks sense that dazzles many
Can safely make her wifey
Mom will be ah-so-happy
And then suddenly…
There’s you. You silly you
What I saw in you, wish I knew
Got no grace, no pretty-face are you
But bother me, you do, through and through
You again…
Knowing eyes look deep unto mine
Touches my heart’s unknown ravine
What nerve you have, gave me no time
I actually blush, for a guy, is that fine?
Again and again…
You come unannounced
Tie my tongue to knots, lump’s at my throat,
Swiftly you leave while mine heart bleeds
Some plans you messed, some ego you distressed
You forever…
Magical turns the cabin air
When you take that cozy chair
Don’t speak just talk, coz I can’t hear
Your lips I read, the message is clear
Goodbye, it’s The End…
Jessica now looks like fine crockery
Queenie, poor gal, is the new sis for me
Rashmi, all the best, you were too sweet
Well done, Stupid cupid, I bow to thee

That was really funny! can appreciate it more now that the valentines haze has lifted.
